Behaviour Consulting & welfare centred Training

MUTTLIFE specializes in personalized training and behaviour solutions for dogs and their families.

Whether addressing complex challenges or providing proactive training, my focus is always on fostering a happier, more fulfilling life for dogs and people.

As one of only three Certified Dog Behavior Consultants (IAABC) in Northern Alberta, I bring over 14 years of experience to helping create lasting, positive change.

Using a compassionate, science-based approach, I prioritize your dog’s emotional, social, and biological needs while empowering you with the skills to thrive together. I’m dedicated to creating a welcoming, inclusive environment where all people and dogs feel safe, supported, and respected.

Many behaviours that are seen as "problems" are natural and instinctive for dogs.

Challenges arise when these behaviours don’t align with human expectations or lifestyles. This gap in perspective can lead to confusion, frustration, and concerns for dogs, their guardians, and even the wider community.

By helping you understand your dog’s perspective and teaching them the skills they need to thrive in our world, I bridge the gap between you and your canine companion. Through clear communication and practical solutions, we’ll address behaviour challenges and strengthen your bond.

My Coaching Philosophy

  • Black background with a symmetrical white starburst pattern.

    Force Free

I use evidence and reward-based training that avoids fear, pain, or intimidation. By focusing on positive reinforcement, dogs learn in a safe, supportive environment where training is effective, enjoyable, and rooted in trust.

  • Blank white shape with irregular edges on a black background

    Humane

Your dog’s well-being comes first. I use gentle, positive methods - like food, praise, and play - avoiding anything that causes stress or harm. We go at your dog’s pace to build confidence and connection.

  • Empty circle with a black background

    Inclusive

Everyone is welcome here. I’m committed to a respectful, inclusive space where all people and dogs - of any background, identity, or ability - can feel safe, supported, and empowered to grow.
